Lorna Saxbee Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice
Accommodation
Our retreats are intentionally small, with only six participants per intake, allowing for a calm, supportive environment where meaningful healing can take place. The accommodation is simple, peaceful, and designed to help you rest deeply while feeling emotionally and physically safe.

Quiet, Supportive Living Spaces

We offer two room types:
-
Private Room – Ideal if you value personal space and solitude during your retreat
-
Shared Room – A spacious twin room and always thoughtfully paired, supplied with privacy screens
All bedrooms are welcoming, comfortable, and kept to a high standard. Bathrooms are shared, and numbers are limited to ensure a respectful, low-traffic space.

Please note: All accommodation areas are quiet zones. To support nervous system regulation and personal reflection, conversation is not permitted in bedrooms, hallways, or shared accommodation spaces. This creates a restful atmosphere for everyone.

Spaces for Connection & Solitude
Every space is created with care — whether you’re craving solitude, stillness, or safe connection. Outside your room, the property is filled with places to both connect or find solitude:
-
Communal dining area – Where we share nourishing meals and connect in conversation
-
Firepit – Evening gatherings under the stars, optional and gentle in tone
-
Meditation chairs – Placed throughout the grounds for private reflection or mindfulness
-
Outdoor pool – Available for quiet swimming, rest, and regulation
-
Nature paths and open spaces – For wandering, grounding, and being with the land

A Safe Place to Land
This retreat is about feeling safe, supported, and cared for. If you have specific accommodation needs or health considerations, we’re happy to speak with you in advance to ensure we can support you appropriately.
Room Requests & Booking
Room preferences (private or shared) can be selected during registration. Private rooms are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is always the option to stay off-site however it is recommended if there is an option to choose staying on the property.
